Reading 1 Planning Book layouts

Planning Book layouts
This week we learned about the information cycle. There's five principles to keep in mind
It starts with web articles, newspapers magazines, and magazine then we look into scholarly articles which are very specific in the information they display and take a much longer time to create unlike newspapers magazines etc which produce weekly if not daily content scholarly articles are a research and incredibly informative piece of media.
Even further than that books take even longer to rush depending on the information that they're displaying if it's a story it can take up to five years or if it's a research document it can take up to 10 15 20,yearrs.

We also had to
Have a research document on a book

Layout - 6 Keys for Book Page Layout: Don’t Ignore These Design Rules If You’re Self-Publishing

I wasn't able to make it to the library so I wasn't able to make research document on a book to do with layout. so I decided to do a research document on an article instead because I looked on book deposit ori for a book on design and I could not find one.
directly goes into detail about how most riders no they need to create a catchy and good looking book cover, but would also good interior design with strong principles. to me this sounds like someone talking about an individual's character with strong principles ,good looking. These words can also be applied to the design process of almost any document you can see today because most are digitally made.
The document supplies 5 principles which you must follow in order to have I will put together book.
1 Margins
The margins of a book are the blank area that surrounds a body of text on every page. Every page has a top margin, a bottom margin, an inner margin and an outer margin. One of the most important elements of book layout and design is the use of margins. Running heads is also something you must keep in mind into selecting the size of your margin.( running head some books have a running head which is either the name of the chapter or some other form of text at the top of the book separate from the story or document your reading)
For the same reason you must keep in mind for the same aspects at the bottom of your page for your page number.

2 White space
It space is a factor that is constantly overlooked in design community and it must not be line spacing is very important in the design of a book as it displays a tone of the book. in children's books the line spacing is quite large so there is easier to read for the individuals ,readers. but if you're writing a serious research document align spacing would be quite thin as a lot of text would be needed to explain the very detailed aspects of the document and as there is no children reading these documents there is no need to cater to that audience. wide spacing is incredibly important to your audience demographic and must be used sparingly professional circumstances.

3 Line width

Another aspect of design is line with line width is when you have two separate paragraphs are two different sized lines of text. this is used in storybooks often displaying a poem above the chapter head in smaller text in a separate paragraph to bring more of thus appeal. it's also used for quotes at the start of chapters at times it's down to the writer themselves.
Typography
Nothing quite sets a tone in a book or a design document with text than typography. typography is the font that you use on your text. you're most likely going to be using a different font fear heading and main text as only certain main texts are acceptable to readers. in certain circumstances other text is able to be used for example in comic books and manga comic sands in English is often used although it is a very easy to read font with his primary audience attempting to be children or teenagers.
There's far more detail to go into but I've run out of time in my allocated time for this task thank you.

Overall as you can see in my research I planned a lot and looked into a lot of different types and fonts and sounds and layouts I could use from a document it's really important to get the book layout right and it helps with my overall planning document because I want to do my book on the importance of communication and design in games and how bad communication design can destroy a game storyline and narrative.
